The significance of Transatlantic Educators Dialogue (TED) is that it allows educators to interact with other educators as they discuss contemporary topics related to their students' lives, and their own school environments. Educators lead the sessions, as they engage in issues that explore the "other"--how they teach about other countries in their classrooms, and how their own country is represented in other classrooms in the European Union and the United States.
